Music has always been an important part of my creative life and has been the source of much artistic inspiration. I would have liked to have seen John Mayall and JJ Cale on that list, but they were never as mainstream as the others (though influenced and or instructed some of the people on this list). But I gotta say Otis Redding's (Sittin' on) The Dock of the Bay is one of those rare songs I can listen to over and over again and never tire of. This is fascinating. "Hey, Jude" is a song I never get tired of singing and I always say I wish I was born in the 60s because I looove love the doors :) Maybe I was a hippie in my past life>?
