Thank you Rose for devoting some time to channeling this message. Thank you Merlin for insight. Guys my astrology says that the housing market won’t begin to recover until late 2015. This country as a whole will be in recession mode till 2019-2020, but that doesn’t mean there won’t any growth at all. Certain sectors will do well despite what is happening(Metatron said that the economy is recovering slowly I guess this is what he meant by this). For example Solar has been doing well and as Jupiter moves into Aries industrial iron will be doing well. I’m just happy that things will recover.

What a thoughtful, in-depth review, Rose. I agree with you on all counts. And like you, I don’t mind that some potentially controversial topics were presented in the documentary, especially in light of the overall fairness of the film’s portrayals. I find myself wanting for more: I want to see an extended version/special edition of the film that includes deleted scenes and a director’s commentary.

And wouldn’t a film of the editing process of such a film as this make for a fascinating documentary itself?….

That’s interesting about your sisters, Maria. Living here in Cincinnati, I’d say the majority of my clients are Catholic (Cincinnati is a VERY Catholic town!), and some of them worry that trying to connect with their dead loved ones is “wrong” somehow. They may struggle to reconcile it with their Catholic beliefs. But grief really does push us in astounding ways to grow as people. Like you said, some may shut themselves off from it and everything else, and some may become different people at a core level because of it. I know my own grief for my mother, and the changes her death brought to our family, have shaped me in ways I’d never have imagined.

I hope you enjoy the documentary if you get a chance to see it.

I’ll have to watch the documentary. When my mother died about 17 years ago, two of my sisters went to a medium in Long Island to try to converse with her in the afterlife. To this day, I am astounded that they actually did this. And even more astounded that they felt closure. They are both extremely Catholic and not inclined to be believers. I think that grief makes one heart either snap shut or open wide.

Hi Travis! Thanks for coming by! I’m glad you had a great experience at Lily Dale. And yes–drumming in a Spiritualist church is an extraordinary experience!

Someone told me that you can somehow watch the doc on hbo.com, but I haven’t been able to figure out how to do that. It is worth viewing, though, in my opinion.

I am going to have to see if I can hunt down a copy of this as it sounds fascinating. I have been to Lilydale for a healing seminar and also to drum with a group at one of the churches there. It is a unique spot and one that I recommend for a visit. You have not lived until you do drumming in a Spiritualist church; all sorts of interesting things happen!

Hi Kika! Thanks for coming by! Have you visited Lily Dale? It’s really a wonderful place. I’m sure living there has its ups and downs, as several of the mediums mentioned, just like anywhere else! But to dwell in such energy all the time is definitely something I’d like to try.
